Validation:
  • contact police ask for information 
  • sometimes quotes can be more interesting than the actual story
How are you pitching it?
  • How are you going to advertise it 
  • Make it sound that interesting
  • get photos videos 
where can you add your spin:
  • you never know what will happen 
  • big stories that will make it interesting
A tight and interesting intro: 
  • no more than 20-25 words 
  • Says what it needs to 
  • is true /correct 
  • has to be factual 
  • has the be not many words
