6.not a lot the settings are different for all 3 one in Thailand one in a bunch of islands and the other is in the US somewhere.

1. Steve McGarrett ex Navy seal. PI

the other main character- Juliet Higgins ex MI6 PI partner with Steve.

2.a attack on earth by a creature- Spinosaurus but like 3x bigger. it is set in Chicago but the animal moves to other cities but origin in Chiacgo.

3.Army, navy marines etc.- they will bring 2 characters that know the 2 main characters- James Magnum and  Catherine Williams. who are still currently in the service. the last character is Tom Severide who is a first responder, Him and Catherine Williams are siblings to a different father, but they are quite close.

4.Tom Severide is going to die and the cause of death is going to be eaten, by the creature. Catherine is distraught.

5.the first time the creature kills Tom Severide the second time is when they have to jump from building to building to save themselves from falling to their death. The third time they are running from the Spinosaurus. The big finale is they blow it up loads of times and they shoot it. A grenade into his body helps to eliminate the threat.

6.the explosions weakens it then Steve throws a grenade at it and BOOM! Its dead.

7. At the end they are on the news as the people who saved the country they got medals 

from the president and great appreciation from the army. James Magnum and Catherine Williams get together as the disaster brought them closer together and they stayed with Steve and Juliet to stay close like they were a family and they moved to Hawaii to (never take life for granted to live everyday to the fullest because you don't know when your day when be your last) in the brackets that's what Steve says as a voiceover of Tom Severides funeral before they move.
